The holidays have come and gone. I hope yours was as beautiful as mine. Every year we seem to be more blessed than the year before. My son was home from collage. The little ones just adore him and it always lights my heart up to see them together. My mom didn’t make Christmas morning with us because she was with her mom in California for the holiday, but her husband spent a quiet Christmas morning opening gifts with my children. And the kids made out like little banchies yet again. Christmas dinner brought a good friend to our table and New Year’s Eve took us to my inlaws to feast on crab. Good family. Good friends. Good food. Another wonderful year behind us.
Ah..but now the vacation is over and it’s time to catch up on all that I put aside during the crazy busy holiday season. First up is little Santiago. This little guy melted my heart. He was so happy, just giggled and smiled huge gummy grins until he crashed out cold for his nap. And look at his beautiful mama. Can you see how much she loves this boy?
I was skeptical in regards to the light on this particular day. There was a storm brewing and there were heavy clouds outside. I was really worried that there just wouldn’t be enough inside light. Boy was I wrong. The light just bounced around his baby blue room. Mommy had it decorated so cute and I was happy to document the little details of Santiago’s first room.
This session was so fun. I had a very hard time narrowing images down. One right after another showed so much emotion, so much love for this little boy. The colors were beautiful and I just couldn’t stop.
We wore this little one out. I wrapped things up as he slept. And as I was leaving, Daddy crawled in with him to nap the afternoon away. More of this session can be seen on the webpage. Look in the galleries for Santiago’s featured session.
