I’m ready for spring. SOOOO ready for spring. This little one is one from last summer. Baby number five for a close friend and photographer, Kim Rodgers of Brink Street Photography in Denver, Colorado. We took her little one outdoors for her newborn session. They are some of my favorite images ever. Just a peek for now. I’ll post more next week.

ordinary everyday life | week 7
She took the cogAT on Monday. The rest of the school had the day off and my baby girl had to get up and take a three hour test. She was so sick but it was required for the advanced curriculum she wants in Middle School and there were no make up dates. Poor thing. She sat in the front, in the far corner so she couldn’t cough on anyone. She said she only had to excuse herself once to get a grip on a coughing fit.
Our Ordinary Everyday Life theme this week was “quiet.” The library was closed for President’s Day so we snuck off to Barns & Noble after her test for a little Starbucks treat and some time with her beloved books. She humored me and my camera because this is her happy place. She knows she can’t take them all home so she sits and reads for as long as I’ll let her.

So little. They are so very little for such a short time.
